"Carianne H. Jones (Jen) and Latoya Cameron (Macy) are a wonderful companionship whose oil and vinegar personalities create something delicious to watch. Though they couldn’t be more different in their approaches to life and their perspectives on people, Jones and Cameron are a believably devoted and loving couple who rise above their personal frailties by putting their relationship first. Both characters make mistakes, misinterpret situations and intentions, and Jones and Cameron play the many levels necessary to pull off dynamic performances."

''The bright spot is Carianne H Jones as the virgin courtesan, Philia, a role that showcases the magnificent soprano pipes that she displayed so well as Marion Paroo in ETC's last production"The Music Man." She also provides some of the best laughs with her wide-eyed stare ...''

''Josh Brodis's Hero and Carianne Jones's Philia are an appealing mix of innocent and silly, and their voices blend beautifully. ''

''The real charm, though, comes from the cast members, particularly the WSU youngsters. Jones is a belter with solid comic timing, Perry delivers the saucy sexiness, and Sam Cook has wild fun as Pippi’s jealous, Magic Marker-sniffing boyfriend. Throw in Armitstead’s priceless tell-it-like-it-is moments, and you’ve got a group who knows how to sell the effervescence of musical theater. ''

''The story is told by a versatile trio comprised of Betty (Shalee Schmidt), Armadillo Acres’ landlady; Linoleum (Marianne Armistead), whose husband is behind bars; and Pickles (Carianne H. Jones), an adorable if slightly confused teenager. Schmidt, Armistead, and Jones have a huge responsibility, as the show is carried largely by these three characters. They rose to the challenge magnificently.''

''Her buttery voice had operatic heft in "My White Knight" (a tune replaced by "Being in Love" for the movie), but took on a tender shade for "Goodnight My Someone." Vocally and physically, she was Gollaher's opposite, but they quickly developed an appealing chemistry.''
